Brian Miller

Brian Miller is from a musical family and has been interested in folk music since the 1960s.

A singer, guitarist and mandolin player, he has played on stage and in recording and broadcast studios with numerous well-known folk performers, groups and ceilidh bands. For many years he was Chair of Penicuik Folk Club and has extensive experience as a concert compare and presenter. He is a guitar tutor and examiner on the Scottish Music degree course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.

Brian's intention for his Black Diamond FM programme, 'Diamond Folk' on Sunday evenings, is to present a variety of music and song under a wide interpretation of the 'folk' label.
