Edinburgh Fringe Launch 2015

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival has started. The city is bustling posters are appearing everywhere and the flyering of everyone and everything in sight has begun.

Performers are out and about touting there shows and even the abnormal becomes normal as costumes, props and even scenery are paraded around streets to entice prospective viewers.

For the next three weeks Edinburgh becomes a hub of creativity as the city is transformed into an international stage for both professional and first time performers.

The largest arts festival in the world the Edinburgh Fringe is starting is 68th year (Edfringe 2015). Pushing the boundaries of theatrical experience and showcasing a wide variety of talent and performance styles. Providing a valuable platform for artistic expression to a global audience.

This year there are over 3,314 shows participating in the Fringe from over 49 countries in the 313 venues spread across the city (Edfringe 2015).

With many of the main venues having there launches this week and 14 new ones added for this year, the fringe has a lot to offer to both young and old alike.

If you’re on a budget do not worry there are loads of free Festival Fringe venues and acts located around the city.
