Lady Boys of Bangkok set sail for new venue.

The Lady Boys of Bangkok are back celebrating another year at the Fringe. This time at a new venue.

After 16 years in the Meadows the Lady Boys are leaving there original home and setting sail for pastures new. They celebrated the move by arriving in style at their new venue on board their party boat. Traveling up the union canal with all their glitz and glamour and even a titanic pose to land at Edinburgh Quay with a bang. Heralding a new chapter for the Lady Boys and the start of this years show at the Old Fountainbridge brewery site.

The new site will be completely transformed with trees, grass, festoon lighting combined with the familiar Sabai Pavilion and Theatre Big Tops. Creating the ultimate atmospheric experience from the moment you arrive.

The Lady Boys have been made very welcome at their new home which they feel has helped create a lot of positive karma for the venue.

Their spectacular new production Beauty and the Beats is performed by 16 of Thailand’s most alluring and arresting Lady Boys. Featuring a fabulous fashion parade with amazing, jaw dropping costumes and a magnificent Scottish finale.

The Lady Boys 17th season kicks off on Friday the 7th of August and runs until Monday the 31st at Venue 189.  For more information about the show check out their website and watch out for their party boat on the canal.
