Sweet Venue Back For 4th Fringe Year

Sweet Venues is located in the heart of the Grassmarket at the Apex International Hotel. Commencing their 4th year at the Fringe and presenting a program covering a vast array of genera.   Aiming to expand people’s views and provide access to different forms of art.

The venue also hosts Tony Singh’s pop up Road Trip restaurant. Delivering Scottish Indian fusion food such as haggis pakora and chicken tikka pie.

The launch incorporated a select group of performances. Including live music from Rebecca Herd working with Heartlands and a song about a potato from Claire Healy (A Bit of an Overshare). As well as the amazing “Psychic” Comedian Peter Antoniou. Involving the audience in a mystifying mind reading experience.

After a few words from the Artistic Director JD about Sweet venues the audience were free to mingle and meet performers. In the relaxed atmosphere of the sweet venues terrace.
