It was quiet..........too quiet........the the early evening thunderstorms had given way to a hot muggy humid night. He sat in the office contemplating another shot of whiskey to keep him cool and help him concentrate, but nothing could. He'd been on edge all day, the tension building every hour as the time got closer. It was now here, it was time, the waiting was over. Like a man reaching for that last hope for humanity, he streched his cigarette stained fingers across the desk and switched on the radio.

The light hum as the valves kicked into action, the static, it wasn't tuned in, quickly he turned the tuner, couldn't miss the start, it was his only hope in a world full od madness. The dial turned...97.3......101.1......104.4......106.......107......finally.....finaly he was there, the chords rung out like a a beacon to all in the night, He sat back in the chair, turned the volume button up to 11 and got ready to RRRRAAAAAAAWWWWWWWKKKKKKK on 107.8FM with the Classic Rock Show.................................

A true story for you there, well it's true in my head innit;-) YES you bunch of metal laden, rock raiden, power chord shreddin' Metalheads another great classic rock show brought to you by the hardest working rock dj type dude on the planet. We had 3 hours of great music.

Also on the show was an interview with one of the founding members of Praying Mantis Tino Troy. Their new album Sanctuary is out now on Frontiers records and it's a belter.

Also had a great Rock Ballad tonight from a band I don't know the name of with a song I don't know the name of!! So if Nick is reading this from TSM.........WHAT THE HELL AND WHO THE HELL IS IT;-) Once he tells me....I'll tell you!!
