5th Place Aint Bad

Well another Grand National has been and gone and my horse only came 5th! So close yet so far, at least it started the race. Well done and congratulations to anyone who put money on ‘Don't Push It’.

This weekend I have had the fun of covering Derek and Arlene on Saturday but I will be back in my usual place today with Sunday Lunch between 12:00 and 15:00 on Black Diamond FM. I’ll be playing a song by the band Pearl and The Puppets who have caught my attention as they will be supporting Alphabeat in their up and coming concert in the Picturehouse on the 22nd of April. Their debut EP ‘Because I Do’ is due to be released 3rd May its a great EP with some good summer folk-pop songs, which fit with the weather we have had so far this weekend!
