The Gala Season Cometh!

It’s that time of year again where the Met Office pretend we are going to have a record breaking heat wave summer and towns across Midlothian dust off their bunting and hang it from the lampposts.

My gala season started this weekend with the Penicuik Hunter and Lass day, despite some compulsory drizzle the day was well attended and met lost of Black Diamond listeners in the park, so if you came over to our little stand then thankyou!

The only problem with this years gala season is that the Afternoon shows Ailsa and Sunday Bests Sharon Colvin are both baking tablet to sell (at a very reasonable price) at the Gala events. This leaves me with the dilemma of trying to resist eating every gram before the park gates open! Any suggestions to make this easier are greatly appreciated!
