Norm Dunk

Norms interest in music goes way too far back to actually put a date on it (some say it dates back to sticks being beaten on rocks, but we think that's a little too far...) although he presents classical and swing, he's done Christmas Day and Drivetime with a wide variety of music played (although we noticed a heavy rock bias was present, hmmm a closet metal messiah perhaps?).
His sense of humour is catching and his enthusiasm oozes across the airwaves where he says he gets the chance to put across the more zany side of his personality, "Being on air let's me be quite different to what I do in my day job where I have to be fairly straight laced most of the time because of the nature of the job, so it's a LOT of fun and I hope that comes across. Sunday nights though I can feel the whispering Bob Harris syndrome creeping in around 10:30 when we enter the darkroom, but I think my audience are getting the hang of it. Certainly the calls and emails reflect that." Norm is often assisted by Bradley who is a very quiet personality, and never speaks to anyone except Norm .....Strange!
Norm Dunk presents:
The Pink Lounge every Thursday evening from 22:00 - a mix of soothing music in a cool ambient lounge setting. So if you "wanna fall asleep with me" then come and "lounge" around with me for a few hours.
On Sunday evenings from 21:00 we get down to some:
Night Moves - listen in to the most relaxing and calming music this time in a classical style but beware of one or two pieces that are a "wee bit different". It's all "really rather good"
In between all this lazy softness, prepare for tales of some of Norms more imaginative exploits ...
