Geoff Ruderham

Geoff is married to Sharon; they have three children, two boys and a girl and three granddaughters along with two cats, Geoff is still hoping for his Labrador puppy to complete his ideal family group, Sharon is not so sure though.

Geoff moved to Edinburgh from his beloved Hawick in 1968 and when he was young he used to listen to the radio, a lot of radio, including the offshore and internationals like Luxy on 208, well the telly shut down at half past midnight.

Geoff's way of thinking is that radio is a very intimate thing and very personal, so he tries to keep it that way.

Geoff is still broadcasting on the Mid Morning slot from 10am till 1pm weekdays, he is the only original member of the daytime broadcast team from the very first day we went on air “LIVE” in Late May 2007.

Geoff’s musical tastes range from Beethoven, the worlds’ greatest composer, ever, to Ennio Morricone to Stevie Wonder and all points in between, as long as it sounds good, “Music should have no boundaries and anything goes in my mind”.

You can catch Geoff most weekdays between 10am and 1pm.
